Boring
Sorry, but this book is boring. I discovered this about Spark's books after reading the first 8. The 9th book made me think I would never read another of his books. I felt he had run out of ideas. My neighbor loaned me this book and another of his latest. I couldn't say I didn't want to read them. I skipped through the whole middle section - reading only the first sentence of each paragraph. I felt like I was reading the transcript of someone's boring, everyday conversation. The last chapter was exciting but sad in that one person had to die. Another reviewer mentioned that this book was reminiscent of "Message in a Bottle". Precisely what I thought!
