Jack Daniels husband is gone, has no boyfriend, an old car, and an oversupply of bourbon, and a tendency to hang out in dodgy bars. Luckily, she lives in Chicago so no horrible twangy country music, and she has no dog to get run over, not even a budgie.She does, however , have a tendency to attract serial killer freaks, being a detective lieutenant in the Violent Crimes squad.So to add to her woes, getting beaten up and shot can be added to the list of not so good stuff going on.This particular offender, known as the Gingerbread Man, likes to make his own snuff movies.Her partner could actually eat a full size Gingerbread Man.She, however, is rather tough and can still trade insults after being perforated, bludgeoned, or thrown over a pool table.She also is reasonably intelligent, as are some of her dodgy mates, whichever side of the law they man be in the grey area between.3.5 out of 5
