Those of you out there who have allowed yourselves to become brain-washed by some ancient ridiculous middle-eastern myths and legends (ie Christianity, Islam, etc.) probably won't want to read this book, but you should. It's fun, it's informative, and it's far closer to the truth than anything you will ever learn in bible school.Richard Dawkins outlines the scientific evidence for evolution with just enough detail to get his point across without ever becoming ponderous or over-bearing. The book is loaded with facts such as how to date archeological specimens and how the continents split apart from one another, and there is a lot of fascinating information about DNA, embryology, speciation, and how to determine how closely related various animals are to one another.I'm tempted to start giving away some of the many interesting anecdotes about different types of animals, but I'm going to restrain myself so I won't spoil the book for you.So just go read it! You'll be glad you did! I guarantee it!
