Great book for teaching values to your children
I bought this book for my daughter who refuses to let me read anything that doesn't contain Barbie or princesses. Halfway through, I noticed she had not stopped me once to talk about the pictures. She was so enthralled with the story and her eyes were as big as saucers as she stared at the pictures. After reading it numerous times to her, she now wants a knitted sweater for Christmas. I only wish I had the talent to make her one. Especially in times like these, this is a great story to teach children that while they might not get everything they want for Christmas, any gift they receive was given to them with all the love in the world behind it. The best part is that I always get a great big hug from her at the end.
