These are frequently asked questions. Reading this may help you if you don't understand something.

  1. I entered the necessary information, but a message says "authentication error".
  2. I would like to start over transfer, but a message says "you can register only five blogs with one e-mail address".

  1. Q. I entered the necessary information, but a message appears saying "authentication error".

    A. The following could be the cause of authentication errors.
    ·The ID and the password of the original blog site are not correct.
    ·The ID and the password of the FC2 Blog are not correct.

    If you forget the password of the FC2 Blog, Please reissue it at the following.
    https://id.fc2.com/remind.php
    To reissue a password of the original blog site, please contact the service.

  2. Q. I would like to start over the transfer, but I can't. A message says "You can register only five blogs with one e-mail address."

    A. This prevents people from transferring a lot of blogs at a time.
    Please delete entries and images that have been imported and contact the FC2 Support.
    After you contact us, we will reset all the data and start transfer processes again.

  3. Q. I received an e-mail which says transfer is done, but something seems to be wrong.

    A. Sometimes transfer process goes wrong due to our server's or the original blog site server's status.
    Please delete entries and images that have been imported and contact the FC2 Support.
    After you contact us, we will reset all the data and start transfer processes again.

  4. Q. Some of my blog entries has not been transferred. And some of them are overlapped. I don't think the transfer has been done properly.

    A. Depending on our server's or the original blog site server's status, transfer processes sometimes go wrong and cannot be done properly.
    Please delete entries and images that have been imported and contact FC2 Support.
    After you contact us, we will reset all the data and start the transfer process again.

  5. Q. I would like to cancel this transfer.

    A. Transfer processes cannot be canceled due to data control.
    Please delete unnecessary blog entries after all the processes have been done.
    If the transfer does not work properly, please contact the FC2 Support.

  6. Q. I haven't received an e-mail to notify me that transfer has been completed.

    A. We would like you to check that our e-mail address is not being filtered.
    If it's impossible to receive e-mail or transfer your blog, please let us know the date and time you tried to transfer.
